Matt’s reputation as a trainer has grown through word-of-mouth and is built on a simple philosophy: understanding what a horse needs to build confidence and succeed. He specializes in colt starting and developing reliable ranch horses, creating a partner that is both mentally and physically ready for any job. 

Guided by his wife, Erin Kitchen, and their two children, Matt practices holistic management, ensuring the animals and land are cared for responsibly. Whether you need custom cattle services or a confident equine partner, Matt’s work is rooted in practical foundations and honest horsemanship.
